I saw a story on the news about a new BCP called Lolette that has just been released in Australia and is supposed to be even better for acne than DIane 35.

I have been on Diane 35 for three yrs now and believe that it is less effective in its prevention of acne than it was initially so I would be interested to hear from anyone with any info regarding Lolette.

Are you sure the name is Lolette? I have never heard of that one. There is one that is called Loette(in the US it is called Alesse)and it is used to treat acne. It is a combination of levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol. Let me know if it really is Lelette.

Oooh what makes this pill better than Diane? I am on Yasmin and it's working great, but it would be nice to know I have another option.

Hello. The pill is called Loette. And it is marketed as Alesse in the US.
I have been taking it for about 6 months now... before I knew it was used as an acne treatment. After hearing about it on the news I realised that I haven't had any pimples at all for the past few months.
