When should I start seeing results while on Flagyl? I'm still having discharge and I'm down to a day and a half left of meds? Shouldn't it be slowing down by now? No more odor but still watery.

Wait a couple of days after your done. That gives the medicine more time to work. You've already noticed some changes which is good, however, flagyl has a tendancy to cause yeast infections. See how the discharge looks in a few days if it is still there and talk to a doctor again.

I have questions about BV. Had this problem years ago(before you could buy yeast meds in stores I had yeast while at the beach) When I finally made it to the doctor I had BV and yeast so bad I could hardly walk for the itch and pain.
Anyway after my daughter was born I had BV two times. Now this summer I have had yeast infections over and over again. ( From wearing a bathsuit too long )
Now I am having a really bad discharge after my last period. Itching and soreness from front to back side. Sorry do not mean to sound gross but when I wipe the discharge is brown and green in color and like mucus. Also smelled like fish. Is that smell common with BV? I remember a smell the other times but can not remember it be fishy.
My husband was never treated and wondering should he be treated to help stop this problem
Thanks for any input.

Kay, yes the smell is very "fishy". I don't think your husband needs to be treated for it. From what I understand, it cannot be contracted from him.
