i am currently taking birth control (yasmin) However i am clinically depressed, but do not take antidepressants yet. can you take antidepressants AND birth control? i would like to take zoloft, but i cannot go off yasmin..

is this possible? if so, what kind of side effects are there?

I'm not sure if antidepressants make birth control any less effective. I'd suggest researching it on the internet and see what you come up with. I think you should be okay, the only things that really interfer with birth control is certain antibiotics.

I take both and from my understanding it's ok. I don't take BC to prevent pregnancy cause I can't get pregnant anymore, so make sure it won't affect your pills before taking both.
