Ever since I started taking Ortho Novum 7/7/7 I haven't been the same person. I turned into one huge *****. I get irritated over the tiniest thing -- I cry over nothing constantly -- I have NO sex drive whatsoever -- I just feel...depressed. I don't know.

Is this from the birth control or what? I've only felt this way for about 2.5 months and that's when I started taking it. Should I switch?? I don't know what to do!! :[ :[

It definately sounds hormone related. Is Ortho Novum a birth control? I think you should tell your doctor and he/she will give you something different. I know exactly how you are feeling and I know its no fun. Let your dr. know ASAP.

If you can't think of any other reason - change in season, stress at home or work, change in diet - talk to your doc at the end of this cycle. If you have really annoying side effects (like bleeding or depression) after three months, it is s a good idea to switch. Usually, these things will settle within three months. If not, it wouldn't hurt to change. have you been on other pills before? I think I may have started on Ortho Novum and switched to Orth Tri Cyclen. It worked well for me for several years.
