This is an embarrassing question! Just wondering if its normal to have discharge when you are having some cramps along with some gas pains? at least thats what I think I am feeling and its really uncomfortable. Its like a pinching or tightenning feeling that extends down in every direction! Sometimes there is also a lot of pressure and it is difficult to sit down. I have this feeling about once a month and my period is next week. I am on the pill though and have always been told that the pill reduces the cramps. I am concerned about cysts or endometriosis problems, but am not sure if this is normal or should be brought up to my doctor. Thanks!

I'm not sure what could be going on but it really does sound like something to talk to your Dr. about. I'm just concerned about the discharge with the cramping. It really may not be gas pains that you are feeling.

Hi. I know what you are talking about. I get this around day 8-12. I am on the pill too for endometriosis. I take the pill continuously for several months and this only ever happens during the first month after allowing a period.
Sometimes it is difficult to lie down or sit, because it hurts so much to bend at all. Any sudden movement can cause massive pains. I found drinking a LOT of water may have helped... but maybe just a coincidence.
I had my period 2 weeks ago and have had slight pain the past 2 days... but will probably be worse the next few... Also, I get sharp pains..ummm.... somewhere... to do with bowel movements.. Its not nice. :)
For me, it feels like my pelvic area is full of gas and causes pressure on ovaries, etc. I have cramps too, but haven't noticed any change of discharge.
I woudl mention to the doctor.. I have had an ultrasound and didn't have any cysts causing it.

thanks, I will mention this to the doctor, if I can ever get a hold of them! I am thinking about just asking my regular doctor what he thinks instead of the gyne, I always have to leave messages and wait for them to call back! Thanks!
