I have a very embarrassing question to ask. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/redface.gif My last two bowel movements have been normal except for when I wipe there's nothing but orange stuff on the toilet paper. What could that be? I usually eat healthy foods. I eat fried foods every once and a while. I have eaten bacon sandwiches for the past two days. Could it be from that? I'm sorry if I grossed anyone out.
Thanks in advance! :)

Hey
It is usually something you ate. (squash, sweet potatoes, and tomattoes. The other thing is residual fluid from the digestive tract coming alone with it that has further discoloration from passing so far down the tract. These the most normal one's. (good to have not bad)
The bad problem is it could be ouss from an infection or Slight tract of blood mixing with bowel fluid. (These require atention at any age)
Good luck
Oliver

I have celiac sprue and get a lot of orange mucus in my stool since I eat gluten anyway. The mucus is my body's way of trying to get rid of the poison--gluten.
It is probably just "quirk", but it never is wrong to query a doctor about a difference in bowel movements. Just to be safe call your doctor & if they ignore you as a nut case, call a GI.
God bless...
