Hello all, can anyone answer my problem, im a 23yr old male and recently i have found a small smooth lump, (about the size of your little finger nail) very near to my anus, it is a little uncomfortable when seated but it doesnt hurt really other than being uncomfortable, just like having something in your shoe, can anyone tell me what it is and what i can do to get rid of it or will it go away by itself?

hi.. someone at work was talking about something similar to this.
They said something about what they had being a boil(er) Not sure of the spelling. Not even sure what it is. They mentioned it being uncomfortable and all. Maybe if you look into a name , or something similar to that??

can just be a clogged pore (boil or carbuckle) and it will be uncomfortable and then come to a head and drain. they are nasty lil devils. That is probably what it is, however if it is still there in 2 months then go get it checked. It should go away long before then though. hot baths will help it go away faster or if you dont like baths a hot compress and it should head and drain faster.
