My 18 year old son had finally been diagnosed with Sub Clinical Addison's or Severe Adrenal Insufficiency. He has been very ill for 2 years and were subjected to hell on earth as we tried to find treatment for him. I just can't believe how many arrogant, incompetent doctors, we have met in our search for wellness. He has all the classic symptoms and has been bedridden since October. I am sure he was near crisis several times. His tests just weren’t bad enough, so they ignored all the obvious symptoms and tried to tell us they were psychiatric in nature. I have had to take a leave from my job to care for him and search for a diagnosis. I found the answer last October but it was impossible to get a doctor here where we live to believe us. We are now working with Dr Bruce Rind of Washington DC, by phone, since the 4th of April. We live in NS Canada and he just can't fly there yet for he is too weak.

I am already corresponding with another patient of Dr Rind and it is very helpful to discuss our progress with her. Is anyone reading this post a patient of Dr Rind? We would love to communicate with you.

joeeffie - I'm not a patient of Dr. Rind's, but I've heard of him and I know he practices the same way my physician in Chicago does. My Chicago doc has literally saved my life - I too had severe adrenal insufficiency and had to go on a medical leave of absence. Without his particular healing modalities to help me with the pain, sleeplessness, brain fog, depression, etc., I would not have gotten through my health challenges and piece my life back together again. It's a different way of healing and it CAN be overcome without serious meds. Keep the faith.
