For the past 2 years I have had reoccuring lumps onthe back of my head (where my pictoral? gland are) They come and go, usually at night for about a week once a month. I went and saw my doctor about them and he said that he couldnt do anything about them without seeing me when they were inflamed.Thing is they usually have gone back down by morning. Someone told me that it could have something to do with my adrenal glands. My question is should I be worried (my doctor doesnt seem to be) and is this a symptom of a problem with my adrenal glands? I also have a hard time losing weight without almost starving(apparently my thyroid is fine) and am constantly dead tired.
Thanks

Don't know but maybe you'd feel better if you got another opinion from a different endocrinologist.

I've read that thyroid tests tend to err as okay when sometimes they're really not. Never heard of the symptoms you're having. I'd be concerned too. I know people who sure look to me like they need some thyroid. I'm not a health professional, of course.
