If you want some horror stories about dental problems including those caused by braces, go to the Temporal Mandibular Joint topics category.

Some of their experiences may scare, but the info may help you recognize and thus avoid potential problems.

i have a neighbor friend person ----whatever :-)
and che has had braces for her entire life-she has had 6 teeth pulled and then they cut open her gums and re-arranged all of her teeth. egh-talk about ouch her mouth is still a mess. i think she has had more than 2 sets of teeth.but regualr braces only hurt for about 2 or 3 days. just give it a little time. you'll grow into em. i bet you look smarter because it's not just glasses that do the trick good luck w/ your mouth
