View Full Version : 2 year old having seizures and nose bleeds,What is the cause??

My nephew will be 3 in May. He has had seisures ever since i can remember. He gets nose bleeds all the time for no reason too. If anyone can tell me anything please do.Thank You

Is he seeing a neurologist? That's all I can think of to tell you. I'm assuming that your nephew is seeing a doctor of some sort but a specialist would seem the definate route to go.

Seizures are never a normal part of growing up. As Nicola said, this child should see a neurologist, or at least a pediatrician. Seizures can be caused by several different conditions/diseases.

Nose bleeds may not be related to the seizures. A lot of young children get frequent nose bleeds in cold, dry weather. But, have it checked just in case.

It sounds odd that you're looking for information only now - surely his parents must have noticed this.

well i used to have a friend named mike and he had nose bleeds every day. i knew him for about 3 weeks then he got sent to the hospital for (how do you spell it_

sorry to give bad news but mike could have lived if he would have seen a neurologist.
