hi again all...i dont see my original post on the board,
what happened???
i did get to read few responses and i thank you for them.
i'm sorry i could not respond quickly. i had a major trauma happen the other day...my cat was killed by a car! very sad to say at the least.....which leads me back to my original post of this excessive gas problem i have...in times of stress and anxiety the gas becomes worse!...when the police arrived on the scene and we rushed 'scruffy' (my kitty) to the hospital to try and save her, my problem became so bad that the officer had to put down all the windows and nearly had to pull over, but he didnt, and pressed on. sadly to no avail.
i do not take any meds as someone had asked....what is beano?...that sounds like it will give me more gas.
again, my diet is typical american and i drink plent of fluids. please help, as my doctor is running out of suggestions.

might want to look into IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrom). I have been diagnosed with this many years ago and have the same problems. Thank God my boyfriend finally married me so I can let loose in front of him!!! Holding it in HURTS! Anyway, try and figure out if there are foods that make it worse. Krispy Kreme donuts do it for me, if you can imagine that. High fat foods effect it.

Maybe you have a milk allergy? Cut out all dairy product's for 1 week and if your gas is gone, then you'll know. Also, Beano will knock out your gas.
But, i'd try the 1 week without dairy product's.
let us know if it worked.

Hi,
As well as cutting out soda and dairy - it could be that you are lactose intolerant, try eating some live yogurt or taking some Acidophilis caps. A lot of gas can be caused by an inbalance in the bacteria within your gut. Try these and they may help your stomach generally. Peppermint tea may also help your belly too.
