has anyone here had the unfornate experience of knowing someone who has pemphigus vulgaris?? it's a rare skin disorder that is potentially fatal and very painful,and requires massive doses of steriods to control.just looking for someone to talk to ,as my husband suffers from this horrible disorder. Thanx nomee

Nomee I myself have a form of pemphigus [removed].Im 47 and have it since 1995 and know what your husband is feeling.

sorry to take so long getting back,my condition at this time is very small breakouts.i live in the south so must stay inside during the summer months as far as meds i take 75mg of imuran a day,creams i use westcort.i took steroids which can cuse bad side effects i'm now having to have hips replaced because of there use.i tried 65 diffrent drugs before imuran.all sibelins in my famiy have this.have a graet week and take care.
