Sounds like you are not taking enough hydrocortisone during times of stress. One of the symptoms of adrenal insufficiency is lower back pain that goes away within an hour of taking hydrocortisone.

Forgot to mention that lve had the anxiety stuff the anti d's over 2 yr ago l find my self still nervy/edgy l have tremors which people are starting to notice when l hold things palapations, the pain in my lower back when l have an 'episode' really tires me l also suffer tiredness, the pain afterwards feels like l have had a really good kicking! The pain lasts a good while. l have also noticed brown patches on my back thought it was off sunbed( l only used them for a few weeks last year) l have stomach upsets feel sickly , unwell forgetful and out of it l am putting an appointment on to see the gp after reading up about it as l am worried one day l will get a real shock and be really ill http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bang.gif I would be grateful for anybody elses history on this condition and the last thing l want the gp to say is IT'S ANXIETY when l know its much more than that as l didnt have the back sudden pain before. Sorry to ramble but thank you for listening ;heart:
Ps also aching/painful joints esp knees finger toes feet etc was found to have inflammation.

Hey. I am certainly no expert at this stuff but I just wanted to respond with my individual symptoms because a lot of mine seem very similar to yours. I was just diagnosed with Addison's about a month ago so I remember my symptoms. I was very weak; I felt like I was going to faint when I stood up; my hands were very clumsy and shakey; I had lower back pain; I was having heart palpitations; my muscles were very sore and joints ached. I went to my gp and he did blood tests that showed that my sodium was low. Then, I was sent to an endochronologist and he diagnosed me with Addison's.
I hope that you find a solution so that you can feel normal again. Good luck!
