You might want to get with a personal trainer at your gym if they have them and they can get you on a workout schedule that can tone you up and build muscle. Also go to your local health food store and they have amino acids and protein drinks that can help you build muscle and put on a little weight.

Hi, I have been avid in working out for years and have been consistent, that is the key.
The human body is truly an awesome work of art and responds rapidly to exercise. There are certain muscle groups that are more difficult to develop and define than others. And your DNA will dictate how much definition you will obtain. Toning will definately occur regardless and that is very good. We have over 600 muscles in or bodies and they are designed to be consistently exerted. I keep myself in a strength training program that I do about 4 times a week, each session is 2 hours.
I love to workout, gives me a really great high, sometimes even producing spine tingling sensations, I am addicted!
I have the bowflex and the eliptical pro-form machines and they are not neglected.
I believe if you really stay with it you will not be disappointed. The human body readily responds to good things, and exercise is great for the mind, body and soul!!!
Take care, and don't give up!
