Hi,
I also have very big feet. Mine are wide as well as long. I wear a size 12 wide women's shoe. It can be very depressing when you have to get shoes for an event or even just for everyday wear. I can give you a few ideas, but I don't know if we are allowed to post the names of websites or stores here. If you live in the NY/NJ area (you didn't list your location) I can give you the name of a totally fantastic store, if we are allowed. So if any of the moderators read this, can I post any of that info?
I'll just give you this hint: If you look for websites/catalogs that sell clothing for large women, most of them will have some shoes in big sizes. I do know of a few like that, but like I said, I don't think I can post it. Try doing a search online for "extra wide women's shoes" or something like that. I just don't want to get in trouble with the moderator (again). Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

You are lucky that it is much easier to find wide shoes than when I was younger! Websites are not allowed, but I don't know about listing brand names that make wide width and searching from there (so we shall see whether that flies) - Naturalizer, Selby, Red Cross, Easy Spirit, Soft Spot are the ones that jump to mind.
I don't know where you are located, but Nordstroms department stores carry a wide range of sizes, and on the east coast we have Harry's.
Good luck!

You need to look for a regular good old fashioned shoe store in your yellow pages. The kind where you sit down and they measure your feet for you and then you start trying on shoes. You cannot expect to find special width shoes in a regular store so start checking your yellow pages for better quality shoe stores. Also if you look in your yellow pages under shoes there should be a listing for shoes-orthopedic which will also be able to fit people with special shoe needs. Good Luck.

also, if you are just looking for a basic tennis shoe/sneaker, New Balance is GREAT!!! Good luck. It's a shame you don't live in the NY/NJ area, cause I could tell you of a store that goes up to something like a 14EEE for women!!!!

P.S. mlgable is right, your best bet is to actually go into a shoe store and let them measure your feet. Also, have you ever tried mens sneakers? Some of them aren't that ugly, and come in bigger and wider sizes than womens.

Hi,
We may have a few shoe stores I could do that at...I may have to have them measure my feet then order them...Its hard to find certain items when you live in a small area...
Thanks
