Looking for self treatment more natural options. Can anyone recommend a good non prescription Anti-Inflamatory?

Aspirin, Ibuprofen and Naproxen are all excellant anti-inflammatory drugs that are available without a prescritpion. If you can tolerate aspirin that is still one very good drug and is one of the cheapest of the three to buy.

Hi Farscape
I'd recommend eating lots of fresh pineapple. It contains a natural anti-inflammatory enzyme called bromelain. Has to be fresh pineapple though, not canned etc. You can also buy it in tablet form, often as bromelain & papain. Grape seed extract is also an anti-inflammatory.

Omega 3 fatty acids such as found in flax, fish, primrose, and borage oil is natural anti inflamatory. The common spice Turmeric or Curcumin has powerfull anti inflamatory properties, but cannot be used liberally.

also dr sears associated with the zone diet has a pure grade fish oil that you have to keep in the refrigerator is also a great imflammatory. not cheap either. Also Sea Silver has good stuff in it for inflamation.
