I went to the doctor the other day and she gave me a round of anti biotics and said that hearing my pulse in my ear will go away. So far it hasn't.

Here are my symptoms:
Hearing pulse in my ear.
When I press (light pressure) right below my jawline above where the pulse is (technically the point called the masseter part of the jaw bone, pressing just below) the sound of the pulse in my ear goes away goes away.
It began 5 months ago when I had a very bad cold that made me cough alot. I think maybe I knocked something loose in there.

Can anyone help point me in the right direction about what it is?
