The way i try to deal with my own problems with thinking that i'm ugly and no 1 likes me is that i've been given this life and no matter wot i carnt change it.where given around 100 years to live our lives, y waist then on other peoples thoughts. If you dont ike your self deal with it as best you can, even if it feels weird and not wot normal people would do still do it.I've wrote this to get it off my chest, it may not make any sense to anyone out there lol

Hope it does

HI matty- zuzu again....You make a lot of sense.
I've seen some of your other posts, and replied to one so far.
You are right that we shouldn't worry what other people think about us. Actually you WOULDN'T if you knew how seldom they do! We can't change other people but we CAN change how we RESPOND to them. That's the trick. I used to be so self-conscious, always worried if people liked me, how I looked, if I fit in, what to say, how to BE...and it just consumed me. No amount of self-reasoning and insight seemed to last long until I went to a therapist. It was amazing. It really helped me realize that I am worthwhile and not a bad kid at all. I've actually never met anyone worth knowing who is liked by everybody! I came to the realization that most people probably like me, a few probably don't, and maybe a handful love me. That's all I can ask for.
What did you mean "not what normal people would do"?
How do you know YOU are not the normal one?
Different, maybe. Most of our great world leaders, inventors, scientists, artists, writers, ain't exactly "normal"!!

I agree with zuzu. Avoid being brainwashed by TV adds and movies. Most normal people would look ugly on the screen. Most people look OK when they smile. Many famous and popular people are not in fact good looking in the sense that TV wants us to believe. Once you accept yourself, you will be surprised how much others will learn to accept you because you let your defences down and people find a human being there.
