I just wanted to know what starts happening by the age of 39 to your body?! I know that I don't eat well, I'm lucky if I drink 8oz of anything a day, but, it just seems like I have so many different things going on and wanted to know, what to expect at this age?

no two people are alike...so there is no way to associate ailments to age...if you know you dont eat a healthy diet and you dont drink enough water...change your eating habits...drink more water....go for a physical...in short take better care of yourself...

I agree, no two people are alike. I am a nurse however, and would recommend to start off with some labwork to see where you are at. They can tell a lot from labwork. I am 37 and take multivits, lots of B vits, calcium. I also eat healthy and exercise. If you don't start taking calcium (or getting in your diet in sufficient amounts) and exercising, your bones will be at more risk for osteoporosis. The biggest complaint from my patients is increased weakness and pain as they age, but that has a lot to do with the above. Keep up with the water...makes for happy kidneys and happy body.

I had a cbc done I think it was in August and everthing came out fine. My main complaint is that I have lower back pain...all the time, and since I don't eat right or drink enough water, my lower abdomen is tender at times (probably because I have IBS)I am working on getting myself in better shape and I know with Gods help, I can do it! Thanks for all of your responses!

Lily,
I have some IBS and celiacs which causes abdominal tenderness for me as well. Excercise (abs) will help strengthen your back. Extra weight can cause back pain too. My pain to my back has decreased sooo much since lost weight and excercising.

Wenron,

I don't know much about IBS, you say it can cause tenderness? I am trying to walk on my treadmill more (not easy with bad asthma) and I think I'm 5-10 lbs overweight. I'm trying to take vitamins every day because I am sure that I have vitamin deficiencies as well. It's so hard to take care of ones self!! Thanks for your tip on the IBS (which I'm sure mine is due to not drinking enough water!) I have drank 8oz today!!! Yeahhhhh!!!!! That's good for me!

Yes, you can have tenderness with IBS....The healthier I eat and excercise which helps with the weight loss, the better I feel...best wishes.
