Sounds like the eczema patches I sometimes get on my chin. It can be caused by an allergy or heat. I use a cortizone cream. You don't want to use these creams for an extended period of time as they break down the skin over time. I usually only have to use it for a couple of days every few months and I dilute it with lotion. It's probably best to go to a doctor if it is recurring and get a prescription.
