HI, I had the same problem . My leg hurt all the time. Just like a toothache. Finally had an mri of my lower spine and cervical spine. Sure enough, ruptured discs pressing on my spine. I had surgery on my neck and plates put in to separate the vertebra. My leg has never hurt again and my numbness in my arm and hands is totally gone. See a neurosurgeon and have these mri's done. You will be glad you did. Hope this info helps.

Hi Maude&Bandit~
I am sorry that you are in such pain. I am not a professional but my mother suffered for over 10 years while continuously going to doctors with pain that sounds similar to the one you describe. There were many times that she was bedridden with the pain.
She was diagnosed with diabetic neuropathy and unfortuately, she has irreversible damage because the doctors didn't diagnose it early enough. She has 90% nerve loss in one of her legs! Like I said, I am not a neurologist but it is worth a shot to get evaluated by specialists. It took her quite a while to get regulated on meds but the pain stopped and she can now walk with a cane.

I had the same problem before I found out that I had lumbar disc problems. Then it was too late as I ruptured the damn things. Get it checked out through an MRI!
