My entire life I've had a hard bump on the roof of my mouth, in the center, just before the hard palate meets the soft palate. It's about even with my 12 year molars. As a kid, I could make brain freezes go away just by touching this bump.

I mentioned this to someone and they swear up and down that they don't have that bump. My mom doesn't think she has one either.

Is this bump normal?

I have a small bump, never really thought about it. Have you been to the doctor for it? To make yourself feel better, just get it checked out. But I think its normal. Has the size changed? Or has it always been the same? I'm no doctor but was just curious. Good luck with it tho! Keep posting!

It's been the same my entire life. Never a problem. That's why I thought that it was supposed to be there. It's not a huge bump, it's about the size of a pinto bean. I have a dentist appt next week, I'll ask him then.
