Ive been to see a neurologist recently who has booked me in for an MRI.
Apparently the nerve signal from the left side of my brain isnt functioning properly which has caused the right limbs of my body to twitch, feel numb, cause me to limp slightly (which Ive blamed on a knee getting progressivly worse over 3 years).

My mother and her father both had brain tumours ( one malignant and one beniegn) so Im sort of approaching this test with a little trepidation but I can honestly tell you I havent been worrying about what they might find.

Is it possible Ive had a stroke and not known?
I neglecgted to ask the specialist this who seems to think it could be a few things.

1. Tumour
2. Strange "blood vessel behaviour"
3. Some rare disease

Cheers

Yes it is very possible to have a stroke and not know it. This happened to my father and the only way he found out was when he was sick one weekend his left arm and shoulder etc were tingling and not feeling right. Since this can be a sign of heart problems my mother made him go to the ER and his heart was fine but a CT scan of his head showed that some time in the past he had had an inconsequential stroke. Being ill with the flu had caused the symptoms to flair up.
