This is such a silly question but is there anyone else who gets butt pains or spasms when you hear or see something gross? I am in my late twenties and this has been happening ever since I can remember. Before I even think that something is gross, my butt will automatically get this sharp, tensed up, shooting pain. I was hoping I would outgrow this but even now as I was doing a search to see if this was common, I was getting butt pains from all the stuff I had to read through! :)

Do you mean in the anus area or the muscular area in your "cheeks"?...Tagger

Anus area. But more inside. Like a painful cringe. This was funny to talk about before but now it's embarrassing.

I'm absolutely roaring out loud
but, hmmm, I DO get a very pleasant sensation in my mid and upper spine when someone else is vacuuming...

This syndrome deserves a name. Come on you funny folk,
help us out here.

Can't say i've ever suffered from pains due to anything visually disturbing. Although from time to time i have experienced intense pain through muscle cramps around the vaginal area and can't stand up or move until it's gone, but have no idea what causes that. Luckily it doesn't happen too often.

Now i do get bad allergies from vacuuming!!! So watching somebody else do it does infact give me rather pleasing sensations, lol.

Hi Tagger,

You are explaining a very primal instinct.

it is the same as the feeling that males get when
one describes the details of a vasectomy, a kick to the stones, falling on the crossbar of your bike, or other male type worries. It makes you want to put your knees together and say Oooooooo! while wrinkling your forehead and squinting.

I am doing it now.. Ooooooo!!! It is enought to make a
guy take up drinking... so don't mention it again.
We guys would probably compare it to the feeling that women get when other ladies are talking about a mamogram. Oooooo!!!

Ron... squinting

Another primal reaction. My husband gags. I used to love to listen to him when he was changing one of the kid's diapers!...Tagger
