Hello,
Some of you may have read my health problems in a previous post, but I am hoping that someone could direct me to a department or agency which helps the funding of emergency medical treatment.
I work at a restaurant and don't make that much money. I've not been there long enough to quality for insurance, I'd probabally qualify for welfare if I tried. I recently moved back home, and though my parents are letting me stay in a room - which I pay rent for - I am supporting myself fully.
I have head people mention that they've had extreme medical bills taken care of by the government, because they could not financially afford it. You just need to know where to look. Unfortunatly, I never got to find out where those people went, but any suggestions online, in the phone book, government agencies, ect, would be of help,

Hi,

We are not supposed to post links or market a certain company here.. I would try and do a lot of Internet resarch on the topic, I am sure with some time invested your sure to turn up something..

Also try calling government agencies that specialize in healthcare..

Sorry I couldn't be of more help...

The program in California is called Medi-Cal. Contact your local department of health services and they will be able to direct you to the proper person to talk to.
