I am a 26 year old female with a major underarm odor problem. No deodorant helps, I always have bad odor. I'm seeing a dermatologist in September (for a different issue) and I'll mention it to her then, but just wondering if anyone has had this problem and what you did for it, or what helped. I don't sweat excessively so I don't think the odor is caused from sweat.

I'm so tired of this and it's so embarrassing. I shower every day and am a very clean person so this is very frustrating. Any advice? I'm a mother of 3 and my 3 year old has told me I've stunk before! I never want to be close to my husband anymore either because I'm so embarrassed.

From what you say, this sounds like something that you didn't ALWAYS have, am I right?

Body odor is sometimes associated with specific health problems including liver dysfunction, diabetes, digestive problems (parasites etc) undiganosed yeast infections , certain medications etc.and these conditions require professional attention and advice.

See what your dermatologist has to say first...if no real answers, maybe you should see your regular physician for a basic check-up and have a blood chemistry profile taken.

Are you taking any herbal supplements or meds that may have co-incided with the onset of the odor?
