I have a question maybe someone can answer:
My 3 year old son hit his head pretty hard into my wife's head in the temple area and she got a rather large knot on her head from it. Strangely enough, the next morning my wife's lymph node on that side of hear neck became very swollen. Her doctor said it is just in reaction to a bacterial type infection, but she has not symptoms of anything. The lypmh node is tendor and is very visible. I read something that stated a local trauma could cause the lymph node local to the area to swell. Anyone have any ideas? The doctor prescribed an anti-biotic, but the twist is my wife just found out she is pregnant and her OGN said not to take it.
