my eyes have become sensitive to light, my ears have started ringing and are exremely sensitive to noise and perfumes and things seem to affect me badly as well. Its like all my senses have become stupidly sensitive has been goin on for a while and is getting worse. Any ideas wot cud b the course of this?

I have no idea what this could be, but the same thing is happening to me. Too much light or noise and I get a bad headache....

no sry i dont think its that im not using nething different and i dont have any allergies to nething. Ivee used the same shampoo ect for years so its got to b somthing else just not sure wot :(

Do you have any other symptoms? Jaw problems, neck, back, or shoulder issues? The reason I ask is that part of what you describe sounds like symptoms of tmj disorder (that's temporomandibular joint, in case you didn't know). I know it sounds strange, that your jaw could affect your senses, but ringing in the ears, earaches, sensitivity to sound, those can all happen with tmj. The sensitivity to perfume...now, that's one I've never heard of.
Of course, I could be way off base. It'd be easier to give you a better idea if I knew more of your symptoms.
Whatever it is, I hope you get it dealt with soon and get to feeling better!

i started getting head aches when standing up all very strange had mri's and ct scans dun which all came bak normal. They thought i had a leek of fluid from my spine which was altering the pressure in my head. I was put on steroids for a week to help heel the hole if there was one and made to lay down permently for a week in hospital.
I continued getting the pain so they took me to the royal free in london and I had a lumbe puncture and various other tests dun which all came bak normal. In the mean time though they tried various anti depresents to help wiv the huge anxiety problems ild now picked up due to not knowing wolt was wrong and wot was happening to me and to help wiv the pain, which i stopped because i fealt i was getting side affects wiv my vision.
Im now seeing a charopracter and he says that there is a bone out of place in my neck and thinks that this cud have been the problem all along and has moved it back into place but it keeps popping out so im seeing him reguarlly to try and get it to hold, i have to build the muscles up in my neck because there very weak from all the lying down ive dun from have the head pains standing up.
That basically brings u up to date now, im suffering from various other eye problems as well prolonged after images and tailing vision which has been getting worse recently.
The only medication im on is a small dose of Diazipan 2mg when needed, basically i take it when i get really panicy.
Does any of that help you at all?

I did not know TMJ disorder could cause these symptoms....and I have TMJ disorder! This website really has been enlightening.
