Savanannastar-
C-Reactive Protein (CRP) is produced in the liver and rises to very high levels within 4-6 hours following acute injurious conditions such as trauma, surgery, or infection. Levels as high as 1000 mg/L are not uncommon after severe trauma. The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) has determined 0.08-3.1 mg/L as a normal reference range for healthy persons.
Call your doctor for definitive info....I found these numbers in a medical textbook but it might be outdated....Chances are you're okay but again, double check with the doc.
