New here, having surgery in 2 weeks. Haven't read much about anyone having surgery for a cyst on their tonsil(s). This is my situation. Have a cyst about size of pencil eraser. Dr. didn't like the way it looked and sent me to ENT (all happened yesterday). He said it had to be taken out and that both tonsils should come out. He said 90% chance it'll be benign and 10% chance it'll be lymphoma. I am freaked out even with the good stats. Has anyone had anything like this? I just had a hysterectomy (I am 35) in August and just now feel better from that surgery. I am so bummed about this and it sounds like it will just be horrendous! Appreciate any help/advice!
