Hello,

I have been having an allergic type reaction
several time a day and others days I am fine.

It is is not food related, because I have been tested for this and have tried the eliminating process.

My systems are 1)Rash - burning 2) Face and eyes to red. 2) Skin dries out 3) Mouth swells 4) Headache 5) dizzy

The above happens on and off during the day.

This morening I woke up with a rash all over
and eyes burning. I took an over the counter anthistmaine that helped the ploblem 80% within 10 minutes. The only problem is it made me very tired and dried my skin out.

Is there a medicane that can help quick or something to take on a regular basis to block
these attacks.

Thanks,
David

You would be better to find out what is causing the allergy and avoid it rather than covering it up with drugs.
With your symptoms, it could be either environmental or internal. You seem to have ALL the symptoms of both. What is your age...if you are on a '7' year (14, 21, 28 etc) you may have a NEW food allergy as they ONLY come on 7 years intervals. I have a friend who developed a WHEAT allergy at 42 years of age and gets all the symptoms you wrote if injested. It could also be though that you are being exposed to a toxin you have not realized. Is there air freshener in your house, or fabric softener? These cause a host of allergy problems and you should avoid them. For your clothes use white vinegar instead...cheap and non toxic.
Find out the problem and eliminate it! You will be MUCH better in the long run.

It is not food because I tried the wheat and gluten thing. I am almost posetive it is enviromental and not just isolated to my home.

I get this rash anywhere. I noticed that I am much better in cool places rather then warm and dry.

Clariton does not seem to help??? any more thoughts. By the way I am 35 years old

You may be tired of hearing this but I would look into food allergies again. They can be very subtle and inconsistant. Keep in mind that the most common are: wheat, corn, milk, eggs, soy, and yeast. I had skin injection tests (not skin prick tests) that identified my food allergies. I might not have ever figured it out otherwise. Good luck!
