Here is an ideal, all types of yeast infections, affecting women and men of of all ages, even children. One doesnt always know what it is the first time.
We can share symptoms, treatment, how to minimise recurances, and compare this to std's. Also, allergins, caused by detergents, soaps, etc., affecting the genital area.
I my self would be interested in this board.
Thanks

ME TOO ! I have been plagued by yeast of all types for years! Vaginitis, on the other parts of body including the face, inside my ears, you name it! I am soooo tired of yeast! can anyone help! I have tried yogurt even! I try to eat it everyday, but I have even used the plain vaginally! A very small help. The next step for me is to quit sugar.
I welcome any advice on this subject.
Thank you, Lyndal

I have been suffering with yeast infections for about 15 years. (I am now 30 yrs. old.) I have done a LOT of research about yeast infections, the causes, symptoms, treatments, cures. I would be happy to help or answer any questions, if you're interested.

I am not a doctor or licenced professional. All I can do is speak from my own experience and tell you what I have learned. I am currently undergoing treatment for Candidiasis (systemic yeast infection.) I will tell you how my treatment is going. :)

As a diabetic, I am more prone to yeast infections and used to get them frequently. They didn't respond to the creams, and sometimes would last for months. Finally, I tried Diflucan...that did the trick! I not only got rid of the yeast infection, but went for nearly a year before I got another one. Now, whenever I do get a yeast infection I take Diflucan...I think it works better because it's an oral medication and rids your entire system of the yeast organism.
