Hi guys, after a years of allergy shots and NO relief at all my Allergist took me off of them.
Now I'm on Rhinocort, and Aller-X.
I've been on it for over a month with absolutely no relief.
I've had 2 sinus infections in the past 4 months too.
I never had one before then.
I'm at the end of my rope. This dizziness, fogginess, blurry hell!!!
Tried, chlortrimoton, it made me feel awful (tired, and dizzier). I tried, Allegra, Claritin, Zyrtec, Flonase, Vacinase, nasalcrom, and Astelin.
NOTHING HELPS!!!! Nothing helps even a little bit.
Life just plain sucks!
Is there anyone out there who has had allergy shots and they worked?
Please humor me!

I hear ya ice princess!! I am right there with you. My doctors keep saying just allergies. Well, when I was little I used to get the runny nose watery eyes thing, but this foggy, fatigue, dizziness is sooo different. I, like you, have tried everything and have not been helped yet. The only thing I can trace back to that I did differently in the past year to bring it on was maybe multiple courses of antibiotics, but all my docs dissmiss this. I went from a healthy 28 year old to a fatigued 29 year old in one day. This is so frustrating. If you ever find any help, please post it on this forum and I will too. It sounds like there is a few of us. Good luck!!

I just got a dental device called an NTI which has completely cured my sinus problems. Turns out that tooth grinding was the cause of my chronically stuffy nose. I have had at least 5 sinus infections per year for the past 15 years. I have tried every allergy medication on the market. Nothing, absolutely nothing helped. The first night I wore the NTI, I woke up with a clear nose for like the first time in my life. It's a miracle.

How long have you had relief and what made you try the mouthpiece...ie. jaw pain, dizziness? Any tips are appreciated. I get numbness in my cheeks that my docs think is sinuses, maybe it's TMJ.

I don't know about the teeth grinding thing, but the sinus troubles could simply be something that you are eating that your body is truly allergic to. Have you thought about this? I never thought it to be true, but now I know that it is true! I saw a naturopathic physician and she put me on a food elimination diet which proved that I am allerci to apples, wheat, and dairy. All of these give me migraines and sinus headaches. Anyway, maybe you could look into a naturopathic physician and ditch all of the medication that really isn't working anyway...
Good luck!

Jen
