A friend has an itchy rash on his legs, face and arms....it's itching like crazy. Two docs and one dermotologist don't know the cause. He hasn't been around any new chemicals...however, he was stung by some fire ants two weeks ago...on his leg, which is where the rash started. No drugs are helping. Any ideas?

This happended to my wife once on a trip to New Zealand. She was bitten by some insects (Black Fies) and it caused an infection on her arms and legs. It actually looked a lot like the bites, but they kept coming back. An Antibiotic cured her.

How many times did he get stung? If the rash started
at the time he got stung, then it's a sure bet he has an allergy to fire ants. Many people get allergys to fire ant that can cause respiratory problems.
Go to your health food store and buy some Mullein capsules or Mullein extract. That's what I use for bee stings. Good Luck!
