Hi  ,

I went down the balance problem road about 4 years ago. There are some real ugly problems here. I visted a few balance labs and was glad to hear that it was not my problem. Basically if you do not have vertigo (which is a spinning sensation) you do not have these inner ear problems.

My problem which is allergies, tends to inflict the lightheaded symptoms, no spinning.

On C-Trimeton and Symptom free for 3 years and counting

Best Regards,

Actaually Cut-Throat, I've had an inner ear disorder/balancing problems for a few years now and I have never had vertigo.
I have been diagnosed. The vertigo doesn't happen to everyone. I have talked to many people at my ENT's office who have the allergy/balance problems with no vertigo.

Well, I am only repeating what I was told from a doctor at the U of Minnesota Balance center. He told me that spinning is almost always a symptom of these disorders. Since I don't have an inner ear disorder, I really don't know.

Are you sure you have any allergy problems at all?

Yes, I've had an allergist ever since I was a little girl. I also have asthma.
