Does anyone else have this problem? If I watch my husband play a computer or playstation "action" or "mission" game I get so sick I have to lay down. These games make me feel like I am off balance, dizzy, spinning in a circle in one direction, nauses, and I have even experienced one ear becoming "blocked" which I didn't realize till I had been laying down for more than 1/2 hour. These symptoms have progressively gotten worse. It started with just feeling dizzy. I would appreciate any insight you might have for this problem.

Hi, a friend of mine has the same problem. It's like motion sickness.

Yes, I have the same problem!!! I don't notice it on all games, but on some, whether I'm actually playing or watching, I will get a headache, feel dizzy and queasy.

I think with people that are quite sensitive to motion sickness this is not that uncommon.

There is an I-MAX theater here that shows films that engulf the audience that causes many people to get sick. Lot's of people cannot take it and leave the show. The movie is so real that it gives the body a sense of motion when you're just sitting still. But the eyes do not know this, and gives the same effect as motion sickness.

I have the same problem, but it seems unrelated to any other allergy or sinus issues, and only seem to happen with 1st person games (where you can't see the character you are playing as, but rather see everything from that character's perspective). It also doesn't seem to matter whether I am actually playing the game or just watching it. I think it it just like a 'virtual' type of motion sickness...

It may propably be the eye's ability to take in all the motion... Sometimes the things that you are looking at, the brain and the eye's message are kinda mixed up or watever (not pro in explaining) and they want to compensate but in the end, it caused the person to feel dizzy, nausea...etc. Just for extra info... people with some neurological problems like epilepsy have to be careful in choosing PC games as some games' graphics, motion can trigger seizures.

If you are having serious problems with dizziness and nausea watchin or playing computer games, you might want to check it out with a doctor to make sure.

I had the giddy and nausea feeling watching the big I-Max thingy show too... but taking in deep breaths and looking away when I feel sick helped.

Yep, I have this problem as well.

I can't play the 3D first person games, they make me feel sick. The graphics are so intense now, it is just too much on the eyes.

I don't have problems with other types of games.

I tried to play Doom 3 -no way, instantly sick.
