I think my d has borderline disorder. She has never cut herself but has the other symptoms.
I'd like to talk to others who have borderline to see if they sound like my d. She has a 4 yr old and I want to learn if he's safe and if he needs special psychological support or not.
Thank you

Hello, and welcome to the boards. While I haven't been offically diagnosed with Borderline Disorder, my old doctor mentioned that she thought I had it, and then never brought it up again. After that I researched it online, finding as much info as I could.

I think I do in fact have it, as it seems to explain me perfectly, and it gives me this whole new insight as to why I've always acted the way I do. Seems to make me finally understand myself, although in a way, I still don't. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/jester.gif

Anyway, feel free to ask me anything you'd like and I'll try and help.

Boderline is kinda of a catch all..they told me i would have been diagnosed as a boderline but i had too many long lasting relations...so instead i got skizoid personality disorder.....Just remember you know more about your own body than almost anyone
