Hey ALL!
I am new to this board, but I was recently diagnosed with BPD. My mood changed so much they thought I was bipolar but my MMPI-2 said BPD. I'm 18 years old and really depressed. Anyway that was just a brief intro . . . Can you guys give me some inspirational music or music that relates to you? You know, songs to burn that can help me out when I am feeling depressed! Even if they are triggering, that's okay . . . because then it's a song I can relate to! Inspirational are good too! Thanks so much! =-)!!! I appreciate ANY and ALL suggestions!!

Love Always,
**Leslie**

Hi Leslie,

I find music to be very theraputic for me. Most of the stuff I listen to is progressive, "ambient" music, which provides a kind of ethereal atmosphere that calms me. Some examples

Harold Budd & Brian Eno: Ambient 2 "The Plateux of Mirror"
ELizabeth Fraser, Simon Raymond, Harold Budd: "The Moon and the Melodies"
David Bowie: "Heroes"

Also, Classical Music works well. Especially Samuel Barber and Brahms.

As far as lyrics go, it is difficult to find stuff that I can associate with. Perhaps some stuff by Toni Halliday & Curve.
