Rebecca:
I have been to allergists, ents, etc.etc. with severe nasal congestion. I also have severe tmj and am seeing a specialist for it. My allergist said I was only allergic to ragweed and couldn't explain the severe nasal congestion. He also stated to remove all carpeting etc. in my home. In the meantime, it has costs me tons of money and I still don't see any relief. I take the clariton and nasal spray and it helps some, but not much. Then the tmj specialist says, yes it does affect the sinuses but thought maybe there were hidden allergies. I've driven myself crazy trying to figure this out. I am wearing splints day and night. It has helped with the headaches but not the nasal congestion. You mentioned the nti - how soon was it that you noticed the difference in the nasal swelling to reduce? I'm wondering if it worth trying just for the heck of it. I never sneeze in the house or when I eat. When I'm around ragweed, I get all the typical symptoms of being allergic. I've even had somnoplasty done twice with minimal relief. I'm just wondering if I'm chasing my tail on allergies. Any comments/advice would be greatly appreciated. TX Dawn2
