I have recently been diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea and put on a BiPap Machine using Nasal Aire. When I was put on the machine using a mask at the sleep center last week I had difficulty breathing and went into a panic attack. They decided to try me on the Nasal Aire and see if that would make a difference. I am still having panic attacks and am wondering if anyone can give me some advice on how to work thru this. They said at the sleep center that I quit breathing 253 times in the 4 hours that I slept and that if I don't stay on the machine I will be in big trouble. I was passing out at home during the day from being so tired. I have a lot of other health problems and am under a great amount of stress right now, which I am sure is adding to all this, but I want to make this work so I can live a better and hopefully longer life. This is all new to me and I saw this board and thought maybe someone could give me some advice that has been thru this awful terror feeling. Thanks for any help.
