Does anyone know of a decongestant that does not make your heart pound or raise your blood pressure? Maybe homeopathic decongestants? Thank you.

Hi Sister, Which decongestants have you tried that made your heart pound or raise your blood pressure. Are you looking to clear your throat or your nose.

sister,

I have been using an herbal remedy by nature's sunshine called "fenugreek and thyme". It definitely seems to be draining my sinuses which never happens with conventional decongestants. I got it at my local herb/health food store. It works better than anything i have ever tried. The only draw back for me is that its making me tired. Hopefully that will dissipate with time. Best of luck,

kris

To Waldo: I've had sinus headaches and infections for 28 years. Actifed helps but is makes my heart go too fast and Allegra D is much worse. They decongest my sinuses somewhat, but I've heard it's not good for your blood-pressure and I don't like it when my heart is pounding. It can't be healthy. Thanks for caring!

To Kristopher: Thanks for your reply. I will buy the fenugreek & thyme tomorrow!
