I am confused!!! Is it possible to get a possitive after only a week??? It is a very faint line but it is definitely a positive line on the test strip. I would have never tested this early but got a post from Queentiffy that she did after day eight so I thought I would try, and it was my day seven, so is it possible???

I feel okay, I cry at the drop of a pin, and feel a little tired, I went to sleep last night at 8:00, couldn't keep my eyes open and that is not like me at all. I feel guilty, like this should not be happening to me on the first try, it also seems unbelievable. I tried to find info about false positives but pretty much didn't find anything that fit my profile, as that seems to be an effect of injectables, and I have not used anything. No spotting or anything, and no more cramping like I was having last week. I'm not due for a week. It just seems so soon to be possitive I thought you couldn't tell until after you missed a period.
Skysam, thanks for the good wishes, I hope the same for you. Donor ID#? (not sure if I'm allowed to say) Our's must have been very strong swimmers, do you know if your's has a confirmed pregancy? We have a baby picture also, it was not our 1st choice, actually not even on our list but used him at the last minute choice and I guess it was meant to be. I'm sending good thoughts your way!!!!

HEY don't feel guilty at all --- everyone goes through different things in there life..., you should feel very happy and excited right now..., keep the positive thought up !!! and if you really are pregn.. feel proud of yourself -- you and your GF for having enough courage do insemin.. yourself. LIke I said before I wish I could of tried at home but just too afraid. You know what I am trying to say !!!!!! keep in touch with me...,. even after you confirm this great news !!!!!!!!!! ;)

and what does your RE have to say? What tests have you done and what were/are the results? Research is my middle name, TRUELY, I'd love to help anyway I could, even though it would probably only be to give you more questions to ask your RE, couldn't hurt!

Well I have had over 20 IUI's - 2 Laporsy. - 1 hysteropinogr...., and a dnc. I have unexplained infertility. Alot of stupid people that know me say --- well just get a man -- it would work.., Well Dumb a** -- If the magical postion is shot right on side of my eggs and it does work -- how the h*** is it going to work with them have to do some swimming. I just want to punch someone when I get ask that !! Then again -- now days -, how many man are going to go to the doctors office and take a list of test for me -- like a AIDS ect. Yes I may have a GF but If i know that i would get preg. by being with a man --- well who woulded try ????? my mom says no no no..., just stick with a donor.., too many problems - ha !!

anyway I sort of got of the subject -- I guess I just wanted to vent for a minute. My RE said that this is the only way we could tell I my eggs are good or not ---- by taking them out and looking at them. This is my biggest fear. But i will just have to think positive. I did have a chemical pregn. this same time last year !! I found out last year Dec. 4 --- I should find out if my IVF worked around Dec 10...., so I've had some time off -- and December may just be my month !!!!!!!!!! yes, I hope we all can go to the pregn. board together !!

Did you find out anything yet??? We are going in on Saturday for an IUI. I actually had a baby girl 2 1/2 years ago as the result of an IUI. When I took my first test, it came up neg. and then a week later.. BAM there it was.. a positive! Good luck!
