hey everyone
when i was born(1985) my parents took me to an natropathic(SP?) dr and he said iw as allergic to eggs. ive only eaten them once and it was an egg mcmuffan from mcdonalds that my uncle made me eat cause he didnt belive i was allergic. i dont really remeber what happened(i was like ) but i do remeber not feeling too good. i can eat eggs if they are mixxed into things and baked(ie-cookies cake) my question is do you think id get sick if i ate eggs. a couple of nights ago my boyfriend was eating a big fat ommlette and i was sharing a pepsi with him and after i took a drink i could taste eggs and my lips were tingly. my dad is allergic to eggs also as they bring on horrid migraines. im also allergic to summer and garlic sausages(i get a huge face, anyone see the premier of that 70's show where kelso swelled up? thats me)

Your family doctor can do a blood test to determine if you have an egg allergy, but my guess is that you don't. Egg allergies (true egg allergies), are like peanut allergies, they can cause anaphaytic shock. Even eating them in cake or cookies could bring it on if your truley allergic. If I were you I'd go ask your doc, give a little blood, and get your question answered for good.
