I have been on the best allergy medication available , and not many people or doctor's have ever heard of it.

It is called > Semprex- D

It is half decongestant and half antihistamine.
It work's wonderfully.

Now for severe itching that I get , I take > Atarax.
It is also known as Hydroxyzene.
Excellent for the relief of itching.

I looked it up and it says it is the drug called Acrivastine with the usual decongestant in it. I got very intrigued, but since I have high blood pressure I can't take anything with decongestants in it. I rotate between the big 3--allegra, zyrtec and claratin. I have to keep switching because they get to where they stop working after a while. It is always so good to hear that a medication is actually working for someone! God bless.. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/round.gif

It is ashame you can't try this due to your high B.P.

This has to be the best allergy medicine anywhere !

But , now for an over the counter one , that use to be by perscription , it is called : Teldrin 12 mg's.

It too is an excellent allergy med.

But I prefer the : Semprex-D .

Hi Sunny,

I am glad your symptoms are better now that you have tried eliminating the causes. However, if conventional stuff makes you drowsy, why not try alternatives - it is safe and in most cases effective for allergies.

Good luck

good point sarah...For the past two weeks i've been using a product by bhi/heel. Its a nasal spray and its not an antihistimine. It helps your sinuses drain naturally and you can see good results the first day. It really seems to be helping also with my ear problem. That's why you have'nt seen me post on this board in a while. I found this product at my local herb/health food store.
