Hello all. I have been suffering from an off balance sensation for the past 5yrs. Doctors have never officially diagnosed me with anything. I have had test after test after test including 2 MRI'S. All have come up with no answers to this problem. I was tested for allergies a couple of years ago. I tested positive for a few different things. Such as polen, cats, certain trees.....etc etc. One condition that the nurse told me that I had was Candidiasis (Yeast). The ear nose and throat doctor that I currently have.... Has what I would call bad bedside manners to say the least. He didn't even know I had this condition until a couple of visits later. Anyways....to make along story short. This doctor has brushed this off as a possible suspect to my problem. So inturn so did I. For the past few years I just learned to live with it. In the past few weeks the balance has been acting up more than what I'm use to. So again I'm looking for answers. I was flipping through a nutritional book and was stunned to learn of what Candidiasis can do to your system if left untreated.Out of a possible 22 syntoms...I have 17 of those. The other syntoms were realated problems that the woman would encounter. My question is this. Can this condition be treated with a prescription as apose to a six month flush? Regards D. Holloway.

hello,

i've been working from a cadida perspective for the past couple months. A few people including my fiance informed me that this might be my problem. I suffer from acute vertigo and dizziness, and i always get diagnosed with sinusitis or allergic rhinitis. My ears always seem full and i am losing some hearing in my left ear. Do you suffer from any hearing loss or a full feeling in the ears? The information you found is correct..candida are very tricky and smart. They can mimic many different diseases and give a person many different symptoms. Usually, being the contreversial medical topic that it is, it goes undiagnosed, leaving the patient with a clean bill of health and yet, still feeling crappy(for a lack of better words). My fiance was diagnosed about 7 years ago by a renowned chiropractor in the texas area. She was tested and everything. Her primary symptoms are weight gain and allergies. The bottom line is that you may be on the right track taking your symptoms from a cadiasis perspective. The thing to do is look at your history, that is, if your doctor won't help you. Most people that are likely to have this are people who have taken long courses of antibiotics, prednisone, birth control pills, and even poor diets can lead to the condition. My information comes from numerous web sites, dr. crooks book "the yeast connection", local naturopaths, and from some experience. You may want to try your local herb-health food store. There you can ask about what anti-fungals and probiotics that may be effective. I know that caprylic acid, kyolic, grapefruit seed extract are good antifungals. Recently, i have found a product called "candex" to be really effective. Good luck and keep us posted.

for candidiasis try :lactobacillus gg or
acidophilus or
optiflora (shaklee)
the best is lactobacillus gg they do aprox the same effect, restoring the good bacteria in intestines. cut dairy yeast and sugar, some nutritionists add cutting vinnegar to,take multi vitamin, calcium
goooood luck

Do you take any inhalers?
My sons Flovent inhaler that he just got yesterday says in the warning label for side effects and warnings
that oral candidiasis is a side effect.
Maybe you are using this medicine or something like it???
The pharmesis said to be sure to have him rinse out his mouth after a treatment.
Could this be your problem???

No I don't use an inhaler. I did however take some antibiotics for 3 different infections that I had over the past year. It's very funny that I got these infections. I have never in my life had any infections. They were all in my melon. The first was an ear infection. The second was an infection in my jaw joint. The third was a throat infection......At this point I have been staying away from sugar and yeast. It appears to be working however very slowly. My worst syntom is the off balance sesation. D. Has anyone ever heard of putting vinegar drops in your ears? Or drinking one tablespoon of vinegar a day? I'm going to try it. I'll let you know what happens. Yeast cannot live in an acid environment. It thrives on the person taking antibiotics and cortisone and eating sugar. It likes warm, moist places, like your sinuses and estachian tube! Apple cidar vinegar will make your system acidic so the yeast cannot live and grow. I HOPE IT WORKS!

Aloha in Hawaii. I'm currently on a three week Candida clense. I have been told to cut vin out. Although I'm not certain why. I wiil try and find out for you. At the same time I would suggest that you see a naturopathic doctor. They are doing for me what NO MD/PH'D could do. After four days on this cleanse I'm starting to feel great. Regards D.Holloway

Thanks for the tips, adamaunt. As soon as I have enough money I will go to a naturopathic doctor. Is this the same as homeopathic? Anyway, someone told me to keep vinegar in my dog's ears because she has yeast problems with her ears. Then I started having the same trouble a few months ago. So I started dropping vinegar in my ears today. I'll let you know if they ever clear up. I've had sinus misery for 28 years. I read an article written by the Mayo Clinic that stated that they have recently discovered that most sinus infections are actually yeast infections, but it's hard to find a place that will test you for it. So it finally dawned on me to try the vinegar. If it's good enough for my dog, I don't think it will hurt me! I think vinegar is good for your heart arteries anyway. Please let me know more about your homeopathic doctor's ideas, and why he told you not to use vinegar. Thank you! Sister

Hello Hawaii. To answer your first question.I'm not 100% sure of the statement that I'm going to make....But I believe that there is a difference between naturopathic doctors and homeopathic doctors. A N.D. treats with natural vitamins wearas H.D. treats with herbs . I say that either will do the job. I still do not have an answer for you on the vinegar issue. I will keep you posted. FYO....everyone on this planet has candida and can live with it as long as it is lives in the body (healthy). It is when it gets out of control that it will become a problem in many different ways. It is well documented that Yeast(Candida)if turned into bad bacteria can host a whole lot of conditions and in some cases can be responsible for disease. It is a very complicated circle. If you have allergies your almost certain to have candida. The trick is to be able to control your candida and then work on your allergies. This is done by going on a 2-3wk clense. By doing this (in my case) a blood sample"done in the same way a diabetic pricks his/her finger to test cluclose levels"was taken to determine how much candida was in the blood stream. The doctor would then analyse the blood while I was present. He/She will then show you what was going on in your body. This was very informative (Neat). After that was done he/she will tell what vitamins and nutritional attack would take place. What I'm doing currently is working on two areas of concern. By eliminating a whole host of foods and by eliminating the foods that feed the candida such as (wheat, sugar, anything with yeast in it,corn)for the next 2-3 weeks one can determine if he or she is feeling better. This is a very stict cleanse. If you are feeling better and your symtoms appear less...then one can asume that you are on the right tract. Next the doctor will start to introduce the foods (in moderation) that may be suspect in allergies. If you have a reaction to that food,it wood be safe to assume that you are allergic to that food, and then should be eliminated from your diet. The next step is to do a blood test again (same as last) and determine if your candida is back to healthy levels. If this is to be true then you have reached a major point in treating your allegies.Your candida has got to be under control.*Important: Your ammune<sp? system has to be treated back to normal as it takes a real beating from the candida bacteria. Thus creating allergies. When this is successfully done, you may find that allergies will disappear. In extream cases you may have to resort to presciption meds. The trick is to find a MD/PHD that has the knowledge in this condition.Very hard. Most are very ignorant and do not understand the complications that this has. Your best bet is a Ear/nose/throat specialist. They can do a simple test for this. You will have an answer before you leave the doctor's office. By the way. Over 90 million (USA) and 20
million (Can) have candida that is out of control and most don't even know it. If you need more info ie: Books,verbal,e-mail. Then you can respond to this post and I wiil see if I can help. Regards D.Holloway.
