My allergies started off as seasonal, with the usual sneezing, coughing, itching eyes. The symptoms gradually got worse, and no longer seasonal, with throbbing behind the eyes, spaced out feelings in my head, sinus problems, fatigue, etc. After 33 years of being treated by a private doctor, and an HMO; being tested, taking drugs, getting injections, using throat sprays, nose sprays, cough drops; nothing worked!!. When I got to the point of vomiting, and having dry heaves; I GOT DESPERATE!!. A friend who saw me having dry heaves, recomended I see his Accupuncture Doctor ( I did not believe in Accupuncture ). I went to this doctor and sat in his office with the dry heaves, was seen by him, tested, treated, and by the time I paid the bill and walked out of his office I no longer had any allergy symptoms, and no longer needed any medication. I, and my wife ( who drove me to the doctor ), could not believe what happend. I went back a year later for another treatment when I started having some sinus symptoms, which were gone after being treated. I have not had to go back since ( 2 years ). 33 years of suffering and now I feel " GREAT !! ". I wish I had done this 33 years ago. It's worth A try!

Are you serious? Acupuncture really cured all these things? My question is how does this work? I would be willing to try anything since I have sinus problems and always feel spaced out. I am desperate for a solution.
Was it painful to do it?

Please let me know. Thank you.

Hi Brian,

Yes, Acupuncture cured all my symptioms. I did not believe in Acupuncture when I went to see this doctor. He gave me injections at acupuncture points. These pinched a little but did not really hurt. I don't know if there are other ways to treat allergies with acupuncture, but if you decide to try it; you might ask if the treatment consists of injections at acupuncture points, or something else?
Three of my friends have done this, or sent a family member to have this done, with fantastic results. I had one person say that this did not help his wife.

I wish you well,
Ellis

Wow! I can't believe that acupuncture really worked for you. I have tried different medications and they didn't work for me. I'm now taking a store brand of Benedryl. It works as long as I keep taking it. I don't believe in acupuncture but if it really worked for you I may consider it. But one question. Does it hurt?
