I hope someone can help me out. Over the past 6 months, I have had a variety of symptoms which I fear could be an STD. It started with a small white mark in the foreskin area, which was flat and caused me no pain. This stayed for about 2 months and went away. I have since developed another small, flat mark, which has been there for about 6 weeks now. I have also experienced some, but not that significant, itching in the groin area. This comes and goes and right now I have no itching.
I have been to a clinic's, dermatologists, etc and they are unsure. I thought it was HPV, but they do not think that it is. All other tests are negative, except for herpes... because I haven't done it yet and am nervous.
Anyway, recently I have also noticed some discoloration on the head of my penis. In 3 small areas, the skin turns a whiteish color. It does not cause me any pain and seems like it comes and goes, meaning sometimes the head looks completely normal. I have also noticed, but may be imagining, some more flat, small, circular marks in my foreskin area. If I am not imagining this, they blend in with the skin very well and they are hard to see unless you get in a good light.
Has anyone had similar symptoms? Does anyone have an idea of what this might be. I am extremely nervous. Thank you for your responses.

Yes, I do have grooves... but I am almost positive that they have always been there... I don't know. Sometimes I think that the head is also enflamed or red, but maybe I'm just imagining it.
Do you actually have marks on the foreskin? Discoloration? Itching?

I do have some discoloration....it was alarming to say the least...Im pretty sure that we dont have herpes dude.
My penis is extremely sensitive
You are NOT imaging these things. You have had your penis a long time and you know when something isnt right.
While Herpes and HPV are possible, Dont rule out Candidiasis or bacterial infection (which are probably the culprits.
I just learned about a guy who thought he had herpes because he was getting weird marks, pimples, rashes, itctyness, pain ect.... turned out to be MCOPLASM and ureaplasm (serious bacteria infection that is spread sexually and NOT tested for in standard std tests....it also causes stomach pain, vision disturbances, urethera discharge, penis problems, muscle pain, joint pain, lymph node activity. prostate trouble, ect)
Do a search for Balanitis on google.....it is the inflamation of the penis head

Have you or anyone else had pain (a charlie horse type feeling) in your thigh and/or hamstring area? I thought I had read on here before that someone had the same feeling... is this a symptom?
Right now my symptoms are only itching on the thighs and sack, some marks on my pubic hair area above my penis (where I shave) and this pain. I need to go the damn doctor again.

Thanks for the support man. Have the doc's ever said anything to you about HPV? I am also somewhat concerned about that.
I think I am going to get tested this evening. Are you still experiencing symptoms? I have had quite a bit of itching lately. The marks appear to be gone but the discoloration on my head is still there. If it is something bacterial, would it be treatable and cureable?

Hi, try doing an internet search for "lichen sclerosis". This can cause white spots on the penis and itching. It is more common in uncircumcised men. I hope you find out what it is.
