I was diagnosed with this last month, my symptoms have been maybe 100 small flesh/pink coloured bumps that came about in August during a long heat wave while I had plenty of stress. I've been ignoring the emotional toll since I've noticed the symptoms but... its catching up to me. A person can only avoid emotional feelings for so long.
I'm looking for someone else who has contracted this virus. Apparantly its fairly common among children and easy to catch. IT only requires skin to skin contact, or even through the shared use of a towel, gym equipment etc. I suppose I just need to hear from others that they had this and recovered 100%. I do routinely monitor my condition and it is now seemingly spreading to my inner thighs.

I was diagnosed with this in August. Please email me [remvoed] if you wanna talk about it. I had one small bump on the bottom of my penis. Dr thought it was a wart and told me it was one. But...he decided to send it for biopsy to be 100% sure. The biopsy came back as Molluscum Contagiousum. I had another one come up. I would really feel more comfortable talking to someone going through it.
Thanks

I was diagnosed back in July. I only had about 15 bumps in all. My boyfriend never had any symptoms or got any bumps (we had been together for about a year at the time I first got symptoms). I'm convinced that I got them from sitting on a toilet, because all of my bumps were on my upper back thighs and butt, absolutely none on my genitals. Anyways, my doc said it is very common and they usually don't treat them, just let them go away on their own, but I expressed that they were really bothering me being there, so she gave me Aldara cream. Aldara is usually used to treat genital warts, but she said it has been shown to work on molluscum also. I used it for about 4 days, and my molluscum bumps completely dissapeared, and have not come back since. :)

Hi, I was told to put it on once a day...at night, just before I went to bed, and it cleared up quite quickly. :) Maybe you could ask your doctor for a sample.
