Hi guys,
Well my psych is switching me from Effexor (which did nothing for my depression) to Wellbutrin (which I have some hope for b/c smoking helps me feel better and Wellbutrin is supposed to work on the same part of the brain as nicotine). Right now, here is what I'm taking: 35 mg Effexor, 150 mg Wellbutrin, 200 mg Lamictal--and 10 mg of Zyprexa and 30 mg of Remeron at bedtime. I've been on the Zyprexa for 5 months and the Remeron 3.5 weeks with no noticeable side effects of sweating, but for about the past week I wake up literally drenched in sweat. It's so bad I have to get up and dry myself with a towel, change nightgowns, and finish sleeping on the couch because my bedsheets are too wet to lie down on!
Do you think this is b/c I'm weaning off the Effexor, or is something else going on here? I sure hope it doesn't last! It's hard to get a good night's sleep when you feel like a firetruck just hosed you down!
Thanks for any advice--
